About the Institute:

Located in the Rosemont district of Montreal, Canada, the Canadian-Polish Welfare Institute is a 126-bed residential and long-term care center (CHSLD) that provides quality care and services for individuals who, due to a loss of physical or psychosocial autonomy, are no longer able to live independently. The Institute accepts seniors of Polish or Slavic origin and provides them with services in a milieu adapted to their culture, customs and traditions.

Searching for Volunteers!

The Institute and the Foundation are always seeking volunteers who can help out in different departments. If you are willing to open your heart and give some of your time, we will be happy to have you as part of the team. For more information, please contact Jolanta Walkowiak, or Paulina Rudnicka at 514-259-2551 Ext.: 30 or 35. Volunteers are offered a warm meal and transportation costs are refunded.

Several times a year, the recreation department publishes a booklet called "Nowinki" written in the Polish language. The "Nowinki" contain news and stories about events taken place at the Institute. An online version can be requested at the media page...(here)
